October 4th marked the anniversary of d20Monkey.

I could write for a long time about how I feel right now and passing another year of making this series but this time I will keep it short and sweet.

The year has been challenging. From feeling stagnant creatively, to wrestling with my personal demons, the year has felt like an uphill climb. However, despite the turmoil of this year, working on d20Monkey has been the one constant in my life (and has been for many years).

It brings me great joy and a feeling of accomplishment to produce this series for myself and for the people who enjoy it. For every nice comment, Tweet, or email, I am always appreciative and humbled by how many of you hold this series close to your hearts. It means the world to me and I can never thank all of you enough for your kind words.

I am excited for new challenges and new directions for this cast of characters in the remaining months of 2016 and year to come. Big changes are on the horizon for both the cast and myself, as I will be approaching d20Monkey in a new way once the Karthun Art Break concludes. If I do not challenge myself, I will never evolve and improve. It is time to shake things up again.

I will have more to say on that soon, but for now I just want to thank you all again for reading and supporting my work.

Thank you all so much.

Brian
