But the weak point is the wrist/elbow, right where you follow up with a boot to break the hand off.

Well, it wouldn’t be a Cthulhu game if the Big Bad went down easy…

“Oh! You thought I was trying to hit you with the *mace*. No, I knew you’d grab it, so now I can use that as leverage to stomp your rotten teeth in with my boots, ya ugly hag!” 😀

Is it just me, or is that mace covered in eyes that are currently closed?

No, I’d bet you’re right on the money. Good eye!

It could be eyes if it’s really magical, though the more mundane explanation would just be carving. If the mace were made of wood, I might suspect those were massive metal studs driven into it for more striking power.

      The Beholder Mace.
Just when your opponent thinks they’ve stopped your attack by grabbing the weapon… The eyes open and extend on stalks before blasting your opponent into dust!

Must try equipping a villain with this in a game at some point… 😉

Perhaps this comic was drawn earlier, but I couldnt help noticing that the copyright in the bottom right corner still says 2018. Coming from a relatively new fan, love the series. At first coc wasn’t my favorite, but you’ve managed to leave me wanting for more with each new update!

And now to do my own summoning of a yawning destructive power that threatening to consume all it comes in contact with.

And now comes the “Boy, I hope those decorative eyes aren’t just decorative” moment.
