Oh dang! Who gave Bronco the shiner?

Those of you wanting to sort out who’s doing what in this pic, here’s the team: http://www.d20monkey.com/comic/all-the-kings-horses-part-six/

I mean, no one in that room’s tough enough for that.

Clearly she gave it to herself when she did the drop through the ceiling.

My guess is probably just a random crit by the laser blasters.
Out of game? Not sure how mass combat is handled, but I’m guessing it was something like “Okay, you are taking on twenty mooks at once? Their puny blows mean nothing to you, but a few of them get lucky shots in. Take three points of damage.”
It’s been a while since I’ve played Fate, but they take Strain, don’t they? And she would have a temporary disadvantage? A swollen eye that gives penalties for perception and ranged combat seems good.

Notice all the little welts she’s got. Each one of those is gonna be from a blaster hit. Little worried about the guy with the BIG gun in the back….

I still think that’s a camera. “A bit more to the left, Steve. Yeah! This is perf- oh, Alex, do you really have to fly into the shot and collapse? We are not getting ‘Most Stylish Minions of the Year’ Award, if we can’t make the combat aestethically pleasing on the submission vid-” *POW!*

It also works for hiring videos.

Those guys with the Face Masks seem like elite-Mooks. Propably one of them.

Indeed Hollywood to care of a whole gaggle of those guys, identified as “Royal Guard”:

Also, why is Desuna only lifting one guy up?

Because that is how I decided to draw it and I think it is cool?

Always a good reason, the Rule of Cool.

On the other hand, maybe the guy was changing a lightbulb, and Desuna catched him when the ladder got knocked over in the brawl?

“Heroes: they also help with the small things.”

I’m guessing Desuna is teleporting enemies out of the field, and probably one or two at a time for maximum range.

As long as the other are not niddeled that he is not pulling his weight 🙂

Also, Desuna strikes me as more of a caster/support than brawler.

I LOVE single frame artwork like this. Like the classic WH40k Rogue Trader cover. Awesome. Great job Brian.

And so many details to discuss, like “How are the masked goons different from the rest?” or “Is this room purposebuilt for these brawls?” and “Is the guy on the far right with the blue thingy-ma-bob about to fire a rocket, or is he recording the brawl and sending it to ‘America Funniest Videos’?”.

This is either the best, or the worst, 90’s rave dance party EVER!!

I do notice that there are a few people violating the precepts of Mode’s Law. Wonder if we’ll see if it functions in the Andromeda X universe.
