It’s time for another Jerk-Knee update and I am happy to report that things are going very well.

I am still on crutches and doing physical therapy twice a week but every session seems a little easier, my range of motion improves, and my leg is getting stronger. As of this post, I am scheduled to try to take a few serious weight-bearing steps at my appointment today and that my friends is a HUGE step (all of the pun intended).

What does this mean for comics? I am happily working on building a nice buffer of comics at the moment. I know this might not make much sense to some folks but having a wrecked leg really does effect how long I can sit comfortably at my desk and draw. I still have a day job that I spend at least 8 hours a day at, so when I make it home my leg is already a little taxed from sitting ¬†up all day. The good news is that my time at the drawing table is increasing every week and when the time comes to dive back into comics, I will have a nice buffer to lean on when/if I have bad leg days. I will be rolling right back into the Christmas arc (no fucks given if it’s January, February, or March) and then into the arcs I have written since being laid up.

I think good things are coming.

I know it is frustrating to check the site and feel the cold slap of no new comics (believe me I hurt more than you do in that regard) but I am working hard, taking P.T. seriously. and pushing to make it back to where I was before the accident.

Thank you all so much for your patience and support.
