3 STRIPS INTO THE ARC AND AN ELF ARRIVES!
Who is that guy anyway?
he must be Jeeves the Epic Level Butler .. hear him buttle!
Rouge Mage Nick Reply:December 13th, 2013 at 2:03 pm
He can’t be better the Aurthour, he is simply the best
Heh… my guess: the big bad of this arc will get super-punched by an underf*cked Jeanie. XD
Que dirty jokes about where her hand is currently located. <.<
The references, the beautiful beautiful references….
When I first tried to access this page from my RSS feed, I got a 404 Page Not Found error (reloading fixed it). Considering the title of the comic, I’m not sure if this was a bug or a feature.
That last panel…that last PANEL! OMG…I LOLed so hard.
Keep up the awesome work.
Power Word: Mother
Am I the only one who saw the monocle and immediately switched the elf to a German accent?
SCRIOS Reply:November 25th, 2013 at 7:00 pm
Actually I thought “Mr. Feeny”
Veridan Reply:December 8th, 2013 at 3:47 pm
From my point of view a British accent suits the elf much better
Power word Limp! no save
Elves never bring good news in this strip.
Am I the only one concerned with the first panel dialogue implying that they’re watch two close friends get it on, and it’s making them all hot and bothered?
Vinnie Vidivici Reply:November 22nd, 2013 at 10:56 pm
Yep. You’re the only one. ;-D
GragSmash Reply:November 25th, 2013 at 8:39 am
No, I think them watching as long as they did is a bit skeevy.
When I brought this up on the last comic, I was told that Brett is too much in shock.
I won’t say this is an ungenuine response. They’re acting in a way consistent with how people might act.
I still say it’s tacky.
Eleclipse Reply:November 25th, 2013 at 10:47 am
Yep, i think that too, also they aren’t in that much shock now and still watching.
Brian Reply:November 25th, 2013 at 5:47 pm
Honestly, it is a screw up on my part. I really should add a “click” or power down sound on that as after the initial ‘OMG SEX” reactions, they should (and really would) switch off. Now, the glimpse of sexy times getting their own motors going? Well that is another story.
Eleclipse Reply:November 26th, 2013 at 2:23 am
I see, thanks for the clarification! That’s indeed another story
Warren Reply:November 26th, 2013 at 7:10 pm
Add the click when you put it in a book
Dave M Reply:November 25th, 2013 at 2:08 pm
Nope, it is rather disturbing. And would make for some awkward conversations later.
Could I offer a suggestion? A page with a synopsis of each character would be nice. Maybe a sentence or two with a link to the first time they entered the strip. I’d like to go back and look at the different ways they were drawn and reacquaint myself with how they got to be where they are now. I think it would be cool at least XD. Though probably a lot of work…hmm.
What happens when Santa makes it onto the Naughty List?
For thoes that dont know- the artist broke his knee. Delay in comic making in effect.

Hope Brian is doing well. It always sucks to get hurt before the holidays.
Tripp Reply:November 27th, 2013 at 1:47 pm
Ohhh, was just coming to see if he was ok, as we hadn’t had any new comics posted. I guess the broken knee explains it!
I hope he recovers quickly!
GragSmash Reply:November 27th, 2013 at 4:19 pm
Get well soon, Brian!
Dave Reply:November 27th, 2013 at 9:31 pm

Thanks for the info! I was getting worried.
Jezbez Reply:December 5th, 2013 at 6:11 am
Hope he’s better and back on the comics soon.
It’s a bit of a bugger withthe timings – the festive stories are always awesome.
Get better soon, Brian. Sending you good thoughts.
The comic was right on scheduled, until he took an arrow to the knee….*RUNS*
P.S. Feel better
Any news from Brian? Is he ok?
GragSmash Reply:December 2nd, 2013 at 4:46 pm
Based on his twitter, he’s at work today. So far comic-drawing has been challenging, but he thinks he can find more time for writing now.
Personally I’m looking forward to some guest comics.
Checking the comments to see why there haven’t been new updates pays off.
Take the time you need to heal, Brian. We’ll still be here. Hope you’re feeling better soon!
Oh man I just checked in to see if Comic Bro was ok, sad to hear that. Get better man.
Feel better Brian! We will be here for you when you are up to it
Bloody hell! My internets go down for a while, and look what I come back to!
Ah well. Here’s hoping you recover well, mate. And may your holidays be as jolly as you’d like them to be. That knee can suck it.
“He used to update comics thrice a week, but then he took an arrow in the knee”
Hope you get better man, I’m missing the comic and need a fix

What he got married? Jk.
Anyone heard how his knee is doing, any updates on his condition?
I just found this comic about a week ago and devoured it. Love your stuff. As a DM and gamer, I can totally relate to a lot of this. I’ve been or gamed with all these people, archetypes anyway, at some point since 1990. Keep the good stuff coming man!
So, know that its been a little over a month, is his knee getting better enough to allow his hands to draw? Just kidding, I’m just looking for some sort of update.
He is the little hobbit bilbo hehe!! Great comic
for those of you that haven’t discovered his little update part of the website (I just found it today, huzzah!)
Having shattered my knee, pelvis, and half the rest of my body. I can totally understand being too tired, and in too much pain to sit and draw. I couldn’t move, and still couldn’t find a good position.
Keep up the physical therapy, it’s a pain but helps. I took up whittling for my wrists/arms.
